First of all, I will like to thank you for using some of your most valued commodities – time, I will try to make it as informative and easily understood as I can, here on my website.
I got this idea of this website when I was going through some of my old back-ups, looking for my work diary, I was trying to find a specific solution to a challenge I have many years ago and was curious how I solved it before and if handled it differently before, how I have solved an issue, and if I have overlooked technique or angle, I could benefit from in this challenge?
Now see I’m already rambling,….. back on track Peter!
I took the challenge of building a website, for myself, because then (I have as stated above) visit my old work diary and my notes, and that got me thinking that a website can reach more people than I have in my social circle. So how can I convey, this into something meaningful for you, I love to challenge myself, but I have never built a website, I have security tests a couple, but never built one, so why am I willing to put so much effort and time into this?
I’m a firm believer in it’s good to share knowledge, then it’s easier to grow as a person and as a leader, and this can perhaps inspire you to try one or more things that are in here, or atlases get you to reflect on some of the topics. And for me, looking back is sometimes needed to understand the future, because it forces me to understand how I got to where I am today. Did I miss anything, what has changed, and why, this is my question to myself.
Some of the topics on my site will be basic knowledge for some of you, but not for everybody, and I hope that I will spark a bit of curiosity, so you will seek more knowledge or related knowledge and think about how easy it is to acquire knowledge, let’s embrace it.
I love a challenge and I love learning new things, I often got asked so what do you do? I know a little about what can help leaders lead perhaps a little more effectively, or if you are on your way to becoming a leader, this will hopefully give a couple of pointers along the way. When I’m passionate about learning, one of my pleasures is helping others. See here……. I can just ramble on topics I find interesting.
I will get into some leadership-related tasks like day-to-day tasks, Project Management, Leadership styles, Communication, and Company Cultural, but not limited to those topics, having some understanding of some of these topics will not only help you clarify your ownership and responsibility but there are also properly a few changes you can make to be even more effective. Like anything else, leadership is an ongoing learning process and demands commitment and persistence, it will take some trial and error to get it as close as a right that is possible.
I will get into the different standards, and why I’m a firm believer in using international standards, and not just making a company standard when communicating with partners, and vendors, this makes it also much easier to mitigate risks if you are compliant with a standard, the signal value it sends not only having an economic value but also the company, having the practice of a standard, this inspires also partners confidence In the company. Here are some of the standards I will go thru ISO/IEC, EDPB, EDPB, AIOTI, and ISAE and try to cast a light on.
I will get into another topic I’m fascinated by, our minds because of the way emotions and physics have such a big impact on what we are doing, how we approach a problem, and how we think, in this aspect of our physics, there is a hidden resource there will that will be worth looking into as a leader, to better understand why we and our surroundings are reacting the way we are. Cultural differences I another interesting topic because failing to understand the other culture, that we are interacting with, can lead to misunderstandings that are difficult to recover from, we as humans normally see the world from our one reference point, and that is our own culture and norms.
Here I will get into IT-Security aspects, why processors are important, different Linux operating systems, why I think that internal audits give value, and I will also get into some of my favorite tools explaining what tools are more suit for what task, Gap Assessment/- Gap analysis this indicate which areas there needs a bit more focus, and talk about RED and BLUE teams, how different states and companies are tracking our behavior and profiling us tracking, I will warn you this is one this is an area I have a great focus on, especially because it has such a great influence on everybody that uses the internet or a personal device what we can and cannot see and know what our data is used for that the scared part.
I’m properly doing the whole Blog thing wrong, here I will try to blog about topics and things that I have encountered, there will be every topic from, Deceptive design patterns (Dark pattern) techniques, Smart contracts, and Machine Learning to Online social fatigue, and how social media changes the way society works, and everything between.
Here I will get into how I ended up here and where some of my interest comes from, this is not technical but more like a person inside, from when I was three years old, and my father when he lifted me up to grab a bar 6 feet of the ground, in the playground, and he let go (of course he was there ready to catch if I fall) but I angry with a stern look on my face, yelled at my father me that he was not allowed to let go of me, to my experiments that really got me into problems with my parents, I will also get into my invention’s one of them got on the radio, to experiences as a young boy scout leader leaning to lead, to becoming a pentester.
I have made Get In Touch for two reasons, of course, the ovaries one, so it’s possible you can get in touch white me. The other reason I will use this site is to set up interviews with topics in some areas that I find interesting I will like to interview company leaders, Human Resources departments, and exclusive search and recruitment companies around the world, has the been a shift what that identifying personality traits and potentials, and how to value and rank them in a professional environment, and are some traits valued higher in some geographic areas, regions and countries and cultures, what are the common traits if any? And what about in industries here values must difference, but a leader is basically a person that can juggle resources and economics, that is one of the common features.
I can’t recall another industry that is that fond of acronyms as the IT industry, so I thought it will be inserting to add them to my IT Terminology when I come across an acronym and try to explain it, this will steadily become more and more expanded, as time goes on, just a little fun side project.
